This is a first draft for review. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer.

1. Who we are

CryptoScribe ("we", "us") operates the CryptoScribe membership platform at cryptoscribe.to. This notice explains what data we process and why.

2. The short version

We are a non-custodial platform. We never hold your funds and we never ask for a password or a private key. We process the minimum data needed to run memberships: your wallet address, the content you create or subscribe to, and payment records that already exist publicly on-chain.

3. Data we process

  • Wallet address. You sign in with your Ethereum wallet (Sign-In With Ethereum). Your public wallet address identifies your account. Wallet addresses and on-chain payments are public by design on a public blockchain.
  • Account and creator profile. Username, display name, bio, avatar/banner URLs and social links you choose to add.
  • Subscription and payment records. The plans you create or subscribe to, charge status, and references to on-chain transactions. We do not store card or bank details — there are none.
  • Optional contact email. If you provide one, we use it solely to send transactional emails such as payment confirmations. We do not have an email for accounts that do not provide one.
  • Technical data. Standard server logs and rate-limiting data needed for security and abuse prevention.

4. What we do not do

We do not hold custody of your funds. We do not store private keys or seed phrases. We do not sell your data. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

5. Third parties (processors)

  • Request Network — processes the recurring on-chain USDC payments you authorize. See request.network.
  • Supabase — database, authentication sessions and storage.
  • Resend — sends transactional email, only when you have provided a contact email.
  • Vercel — hosting and content delivery.
  • Upstash — rate-limiting data store.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.

6. On-chain data is permanent

Payments are recorded on the Polygon blockchain. On-chain records are public and cannot be edited or deleted by us or by you. Your wallet address is inherently linkable to your on-chain activity.

7. Retention

We keep account and subscription records for as long as your account exists and as required to meet legal and accounting obligations. On-chain records persist independently of us.

8. Your choices

You can edit your profile and cancel subscriptions in the product. You can request deletion of your off-chain account data by contacting us; note that on-chain records cannot be removed. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or export your data.

9. Contact
